Deep Dive Dance Workshop is a unique event specially designed for pre and professional dancers. For you to be able to dive “head on” into the intimate world of most prestigious contemporary choreographer. A chance to experience what it would feel like to work with masters of contemporary dance in real life. Get a deeper understanding of their process, methods and tools used to create a choreography, improvisation and explore your own body language in a new unique way. On 27th-28th of August
we invite you to the city of Madrid to participate in our next workshop on repertoire work of Alexander Ekman, lead by his old time assistant Preston McBain
Preston McBain is currently Ballet master with Staatstheater Nuremberg Ballet & Rehearsal director for Alexander Ekman.
Preston has performed principal, soloist and corps de ballet roles in all the major classical repertoire. He has also had the opportunity to work with countless contemporary choreographers such as, Jiri Kylian, Sharon Eyal, Mats Ek, Alexander Ekman, Crystal Pite, Gioconda Barbuto, Stijn Celis, Mavin Khoo, William Forsyth, Kevin O’Day, Lukas Timulak and Maurice Bejart to name a few.
As a teacher he has had the opportunity to work with Joffrey Ballet, State Ballet of Georgia, Royal Swedish Ballet, Ohio Ballet, Ballet Dortmund, Aalto Ballet Essen.
As a rehearsal director he has staged works by Alexander Ekman on The Royal Swedish Ballet, The Joffrey Ballet and Ballet Dortmund.

Rules:
Participants of the workshop are not allowed to make photo or video recordings during the workshop.
Participants of the workshop don't have permission to film or post on social media any material they have learned during our workshop.
Participants agree to be filmed by Deep Dive Dance members for promotional means, such a trailers and social media posts.
Participants agree to respect other dancers during the workshop and contribute to Inspiring, Concentrated and Productive atmosphere.
The organisers decline all responsibility in case of accident and other injury during Deep Dive Dance Workshop.
Cancellation Policies:
If by any reason/s the Deep Dive Dance Workshop set out to be canceled, including the reasons related to COVID-19, organisers will fulfil obligation to repay the entire amount paid to the participant, minus 15€ for administration fees.
Deep Dive Dance cannot take responsibility for any other costs that have been made by participants, including travel, housing and such.
If you cancel a month prior the first day of the workshop: you will be refunded at 80%
If you cancel within the month prior the first day of the workshop you will be refunded at 50%.
No refund 1 week before the first day of the Workshop is possible.
