Rafi Sady

Rafi Sady completed his dance training at Bat-Dor Beer-Sheva/Tel-Aviv Dance School.
He was a member of the Cullberg Ballet for 14 years. Where he created and danced in many lead roles, closely working with Mats Ek.During his dance career Rafi Sadi has danced repertoire by many world renowned choreographers: Ohad Naharin, Jirí Kylián, Christopher Bruce,Oscar Araiz, Rudi van Dantzig, Didy Veldman, Robert North, Kenneth Kvarnstrom, Carolyn Carlson, Örjan Andersson, Cristina Caprioli…
Previously, he was soloist in the Bat-Dor dance company and Principal Dancer in
Ballet du Grand Théâtre de Genève for 7 years.He has made guest appearances with Het National ballet in Amsterdam and the Royal Swedish Ballet.

Since 2009 Rafi assists and collaborates with Mats Ek around the world teaching dance companies :Danza Contemporánea de Cuba, Zurich Ballet, Royal Swedish Ballet, NederlandsDans Theatre (NDT).
He set Mats Ek’s ”Carmen” to Sylvie Guillem and the Tokyo Ballet,and the Opera de Paris in 2019.
Rafi participated in a dance project «Age On Stage», that collaborate with «Dance On» from Berlin ( ex-dancers from Forsythe dance company) and work with choreographers Martin Harriague, Sharon Friedman and Johannes Wieland.Rafi has been invited to give workshop of Mats Ek´s repertoire and participate in many performances, galas around Europe, USA, Canada and Israel.
He has been working with Maslool, intensive dance education for young dancers in Tel Aviv, and with Arts Umbrella Vancouver dance company, and teaching at the International summer dance intensive of Arts Umbrella since 2016.
